Do you provide free quotes?

Yes. Quotes are free and itemised, so you can see the agreed scope before any work begins.

Can I upload photos for a quote?

Yes — photos help us scope accurately. You can add multiple photos and an optional short video in the quote request.

Do I need to be home?

Often not, provided we have safe access. Tell us about gates, locks, animals and parking in your request and we'll confirm what's needed.

Do you offer regular or recurring maintenance?

Yes. Routine Property Care and Business Presentation are built for recurring schedules with a report after each visit.

Do you provide before-and-after photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every completed service includes a Service Report sent to the client. Depending on the work, it can include before-and-after photos, the work completed, notes, and any issues or hazards we identify while providing the service.

What is included in a Service Report?

Property and job details, arrival and completion information, the agreed scope, before photos, work completed, after photos, materials used where relevant, issues or hazards observed, recommendations and technician notes.

Are you insured?

Yes — Zekta holds $5M Public Liability cover. Evidence of current cover can be provided on request.

What payment methods do you accept?

Zekta can accept bank transfer, EFTPOS, cash and other enabled payment options. Payment instructions are provided on the invoice.

Do you accept Afterpay or Zip?

Not at this stage. Buy-now-pay-later options will only be advertised once our merchant facilities are live and the transaction is eligible.

What happens if the yard contains loose items?

Clearing movable items so we can work safely may attract an additional fee. Let us know in your request and we'll include it in the quote.

What happens if animal waste is present?

Animal-waste removal is a separate service and fee. Please tell us in advance so the scope and quote are accurate.

Do you remove green waste or unwanted items?

Yes, within accepted waste categories. Disposal fees depend on the type, amount and facility charges.

Can weather affect my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wet or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling. We contact you as early as possible if a booking needs to move.

Do you perform electrical, plumbing or other licensed work?

No. Electrical, plumbing, gas, structural, regulated building and other licensed work is excluded and referred to an appropriately licensed contractor.

Do you work with landlords and real estate agencies?

Yes. Zekta works with property managers, landlords and real estate agencies across maintenance, visual property checks, repairs within scope, lawn care, pressure cleaning and detailed reporting. Approved agencies can use the Real Estate portal to submit structured requests and track quotes, jobs, reports, inspections and invoices.

What can property managers access in the portal?

Open requests, quotes awaiting approval, bookings, service reports and photos, invoices, visual inspection records, property history and authorised staff management.

Question 20

Does Zekta offer a 24-hour emergency service?

Accepted Answer

Zekta does not provide a 24-hour public emergency-response service. Approved real estate clients receive a separate emergency contact number for authorised urgent property matters. Any immediate threat to life or safety should be directed to the appropriate emergency service.

Who is Zek and are calls recorded?

Accepted Answer

Zek is Zekta's virtual receptionist. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so enquiries can be passed accurately to our team. Zekta does not provide a 24-hour public emergency-response service. Approved real estate clients are provided with a separate emergency contact number for authorised urgent property matters.

How will I know the job has been completed?
